Γεια σου Νικόλα,  για μια άλλη ακόμα φορά ξεκινήσαμε για την μακρινή πίστα της ROAD AMERICA,ELKHART LAKE WI.  Απο το σπίτι μου μέχρι εκεί 1473 μίλια (one way), για να φτάσεις μέχρι εκεί πρέπει να διασχίσεις τη FLORIDA,GEORGIA,TENNESSEE KENTUCKY ,OHIO,INDIANA,ILLINOIS και μέρος από το WISCONSIN! Φύγαμε Τετάρτη και φτάσαμε Παρασκευή! Χάσαμε τις πρωινές δοκιμασίες αλλά μπήκαμε στις ελεύθερες το μεσημέρι για να τσεκάρουμε για τις επίσημες του Σαββάτου με τον Maik Τα προγνωστικά μιλούσαν για βροχή το Σαββατοκύριακο και στις δοκιμές του Σαββάτου το μηχανάκι δεν είχε απέλαση! Ψαχνόμουν με τα ζιγκλέρ και αντί να το φτιάξω το χάλασα! Στον αγώνα δεν περπάτησε και τερμάτισα 3ος, το Σάββατο το βράδυ το έφτιαξα αλλά τη Κυριακή άρχισε να βρέχει και να φυσάει. Handmade main jet wrenches can now be purchased via my online store.   This tool can be used with all Keihin carburetors for Honda Rs125 - Rs250 bikes and Mikuni carburetors for Yamaha Tz125 - Tz250 bikes.  It will also fit almost all Keihin - Mikuni carbs with 6mm hex main jets. Main body of the tool is made of aluminum, it's longer than common jet wrenches as to better clear the carb bowl and features a knurled grip. 

A few years back, I made a post on diy clip on bars that you can find in the below link 2t-racelab.com - diy clip on bars Today I fabricated another set of handlebars for my new toy, a Tz125 4jt bike. So, I thought of sharing a few more pics from the process. First thing, you need an aluminum tube that has an outside diameter of 22mm. Cut the tube according to your needs e.g for the Tz125 you need two pieces that measure 24cm in length.  This time I used acetal to make the end plugs on the lathe.  Nothing fancy here, just common lathe operations like facing, turning and drilling.  I don't own a ball attachment, so I used the compound to cut a taper. Looks fine by me!  And here is the end result. Now back to the little Tz bike to replace the old clip on bar...  ...with the new one. Have fun & keep the Two Strokes alive!

Leak Down tester kits for the Suzuki Rgv250 and Aprilia Rs250 bikes can now be purchased via my  online store. The leak-down tester is an essential tool for any high performance two stroke engine. This kit is installed in place of your carburetor and by pressurizing the engine cases you can check for any air leakage due to worn mating surfaces, erratic torque values due to aged parts, worn crankshaft seals etc. It is a necessary evil that it will help prevent catastrophic damage to your engine and keep performance up. A very valuable tool for a two stroke engine, handmade with care.  Directions of use:  Testing can take place after a newly assembled engine to verify that everything is leak free, on a bike you just bought and you need to check crank seals condition etc. Place the tool in the carb manifold, seal the cylinder head with a normal spark plug and seal the exhaust flange with the included CNC exhaust blank plug. It's been a while since I last posted anything related to YPVS boxes. So here are a couple photos of YPVS controllers, a Rz500 YPVS unit for Spencer(UK) and a Tzr250 2MA unit for Steve(UK). Both controllers were repaired and then modified.

I repaired another one bizarre PGM unit that belongs to Adriano(IT) and I think it deserves a couple photos in this blog. It seems to be a kit part for the later Rs250 NXA models.

This is the new toy that will have some care and attention soon. It's a Yamaha Tz125 4JT 1994 model that I bought from a local racer a couple weeks back. Even though it doesn't look that great, it's not in a bad shape at all and seems to be complete. So, I suppose there will be a lot new posts with handmade parts, restoration photos etc.

Handmade exhausts for Honda RS125 NF4 (1990 - 1994) models, are now available via my  online store. This pipe will fit 1987 - 1989 models ONLY if a 1990-1994 cylinder is used as the exhaust flange is different on earlier models.  Later 1995-1997 cylinders can be used as well and will work great with this pipe.  The package includes :  an expansion chamber a suitable exhaust flange 2 X exhaust springs (same dimensions as OEM) An end can is not included but the stock one can be used or even better a later NX4 type as the rear mounting point for the end can is not used.  For more pictures of the expansion chamber, check out the below link.  Handmade Exhausts Price is 220 Euro (worldwide posting costs included).  Prior buying the pipe, please contact  for estimated delivery time. 

A pair of aluminum blank plugs for removing the boost bottles on Honda Nsr250 Mc21 bikes is now available via my  online store. These plugs will improve throttle response, clear the area near the engine & help for easier carb removal. (Most probably will suit MC18 MK2 carb manifolds as well though I haven't verified this yet).
