Suzuki Rgv250, Australian Land Speed Record

Big thanks to Dave for sharing with me some pics of his Rgv250. I'm really honored for the TSRL sticker as well. Dave just broke the landspeed record at his class and I wish all the best to him. Many thanks! Hi mate, I bought some of your   Adjustable Power Jet Kits a while ago and fitted to my RGV. I recently broke the Australian Land Speed Record for my class using them. They worked fantastic for fine tuning the jetting.  As you can see in the pic i've sent I had one of your stickers on my fairing.   Thanx Dave

Chihuahua Project, Season 3, Episode 03

Race prepping the NF4 for it's first race...  The whole process took about two days and I'm exhausted.  Here are some notably pics of the process.  New Vertex piston. I have hand fabricated a powerjet for the PJ38 carb as it is a handy modification. And a home made expansion chamber. This took about -almost non stop- 18 working hours! Handmade paddock stand as well. Not rigid enough but it does the job well.

Power Jet Kits

A limited amount of power jet kits are now available for sale.  Check out the  online store  if you need to order a kit.   For more info on power jet kits, check the corresponding tag (Adjustable Powerjet), on the left hand side of this page.

PowerJet Kits are now SOLD OUT!

Adjustable power jet kits are now sold out.  Big thanks to everyone for your interest so far, more two stroke stuff are around the corner!

Powerjet on a Mikuni

Mikael(SE) fitted a power jet kit on his Mikuni TMX 35mm carb and shared this beautiful photo with me.

Power Jets on Lectron carbs

I fitted a pair of power jets on Lectron carbs and here are a few pics of the installation. The powerjet should be positioned on the top of the carb and as close as possible to the slide. Any position close to the top of the carb will do but do not exceed 90 degrees from top center. After you have determined a suitable spot, use a center punch and then drill a 4mm hole. Then use a M5x08mm tap and form a screw thread. And that's all about it. Screw the power jet with a smear of Loctite thread glue and you are done. If your carb does not have a provision for a power jet at all, you may have to repeat the steps for a second M5 thread on the carb bowl as well. Many people don't really bother making a thread and only make the hole and permanently fit the power jet with epoxy glue. I have gone this route several times in the past and never had an issue, so keep that in mind as well. The end result should look similar to this... These carbs have a bore diameter of 38mm and ...

Power Jet Kits

Being busy fabricating quite a few power jet kits lately, as there is a lot of interest from many two stroke junkies around the world. Thanks everyone for trusting my products-services and please remember that I always welcome pics with the final product assembled.

Universal Power Jet KIT

Externally adjustable powerjet kits are now available for sale through the online store   and ebay.   A great addon for all two stroke carburetors running either on gas or alcohol fuels. The kit consists of : one externally adjustable powerjet, two brass barbs (one for the power jet and another one for the carb bowl) and a top quality purple silicon hose. T o fit the kit, you are going to need a 4mm drill and a M5x0.8mm tap.  Instructions are not included (at least not for now) but I can help with any questions you may have and supply a couple photos. I have fitted them on many carbs over the past years but I only have photos with the final product and not the installation procedure, I will try to make some instructions asap. Power jet is really necessary for a two stroke engine as you can fine tune the mid rpms at a far more exact range thus improving throttle response and when at top rpms, the power jet kicks in to supply the extra fuel needed by the eng...

Adjustable power jets for Tdr250.

I have just fitted adjustable power jets on OEM carbs of Bill's(GR) Tdr250 bike. It is a tight fit on Mikuni 28mm carbs but doable. Power jet is really necessary for a two stroke engine as you can fine tune the mid rpms at a far more exact range thus improving throttle response and when at top rpms, the power jet kicks in to supply the extra fuel needed by the engine. Having two metering systems to supply the fuel at top rpms means better fuel atomization as well. Forget about "bogging" and "4-stroking" while using huge main jets at slow speed cruising. Fuel consumption is going to change as well, as you'll be running about 20% smaller main jets. This type of power jet is externally adjustable, meaning that you do not have to strip the carb to adjust for different fuel requirements. Turning the knob clockwise-anticlockwise will lean or richen the mixture respectively. Each 1/4 of a turn equals one step in the size of a regular main jet with all the incre...

Adjustable power jets ...coming soon.

Power jet is a must-have item on all two stroke engines, especially tuned ones... unfortunately my supplier stopped selling them, so I suppose the only route is to make my own. Currently gathering the parts to construct some externally adjustable ones, most probably, they will be ready in the forthcoming weeks. And a couple of them fitted on my Tzr250 1KT, on top of the Lectron carbs.

Powerjet Fitment
